STANDARD STEPS

STEP 1 — SIGN UP

Pick the Standard plan for £50/year. Pay at checkout. This will automatically create you an account.

Make sure you enter your correct email address — otherwise you will not recieve any emails.

STEP 2 — IMPORTANT: MAKE SURE YOU CAN RECEIVE EMAILS

This is an email-based membership. You must:

  • Have a working email address
  • Have free space in your inbox
  • Add email address to your contacts so emails don't go to spam

No working email = no benefits.

STEP 3 — CONFIRM YOU GOT OUR EMAILS

We'll email you instructions instantly to make sure you've set up your membership correctly. Click the confirmation button inside the email to confirm everything's working — this also makes sure our emails reach you and not your spam folder.

STEP 4 — LOG IN

Whenever you need to log in, we'll email you a link. Click it, enter the 6-digit code, and you're in. No passwords.

STEP 5 — ENJOY THE FAN CLUB

From now on, you'll receive monthly updates and gig announcements all by email. You'll also have access to exclusive Fan Club merch when logged in to your account.

JOINING & ACCOUNTS

Go to the Fan Club page, pick Standard or Premium, and pay at checkout. Your account is created automatically when you sign up. You don't need to make an account first.

No. When you pay for the Fan Club at checkout, your account is created automatically using the email you enter.

  1. Go to store.nathancartermusic.com
  2. Click the person icon at the top right (it looks like a small head and shoulders)
  3. Click "Log in"
  4. Enter your email address
  5. We'll email you a 6-digit code
  6. Enter the code on the website
  7. You're in. No password needed.

Look at the very top of the website on the right hand side. You'll see a small icon that looks like a person. Click it.

We don't use passwords. Every time you log in, we send a 6-digit code to your email. Enter that code and you're in. No passwords to forget.

No. Your membership is for one person. Login is tied to your personal email.

EMAILS

This is the most common issue and it's almost always one of three things:

1. Our emails are in your spam or junk folder

  • Check your spam, junk, or "promotions" tab
  • Mark our email as "Not Spam" or move it to your inbox
  • This stops it happening again

2. Your email inbox is full

  • If your inbox has no space left, our emails can't be delivered
  • Delete some old emails or empty your trash to free up space

3. You entered the wrong email address at signup

  • Log into your account and check the email on file is correct
  • If it's wrong, update it OR email us at [support email] so we can fix it

Add our address to your contacts to make sure emails always reach you.

Open any email we've sent you → click on our name or email address → click "Add to contacts" or "Add to address book". The exact steps depend on your email provider (Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, etc.)

Yes. Log into your account, go to Account Details, and update your email there. Or email us at nathancartershop@hotmail.co.uk and we'll do it for you.

This sometimes happens — email providers can be strict. Make sure you've added our email to your contacts, not just marked one email as not spam. If it keeps happening, email us at nathancartershop@hotmail.co.uk

MEMBERSHIP

Standard (£50/year) gives you the core benefits — monthly newsletter, behind-the-scenes content, gig announcements first, and access to fan club exclusive merch.

Premium (£75/year) includes all of that plus a 10% discount on merch, a personal birthday message from Nathan, and 48-hour early access to new music and merch.

If you want the full experience and the best value, go Premium. If you just want the basics, Standard is fine.

Yes. Cancel your Standard membership and sign up for Premium anytime.

The first newsletter goes out at the start of the next calendar month. So if you join in mid-July, your first newsletter arrives in early August.

You'll get a download link in your welcome email when you sign up for Premium. If you can't find it, check spam.

After you sign up for Premium, we'll email you a short form to fill in your date of birth. Every year on your birthday, Nathan sends you a personal birthday message. If you don't fill in the form, you will not receive a brithday message.

When Nathan releases new merch, Premium members get to buy it 48 hours before it goes public. You'll get an email when something's available.

Special items that only Fan Club members (both Standard and Premium) can see and buy. They show up automatically on the store when you're logged in.

DISCOUNT

  1. Log into your account before you start shopping
  2. Add items to your cart
  3. Go to checkout
  4. Your discount applies automatically — you'll see it on the order summary

You're probably not logged in. The discount only works when you're logged into your account. Go back, log in, and try again.

No. The discount is tied to your account. Only you can use it when you're logged in.

CANCELLING

  1. Log into your account
  2. Click "Subscriptions"
  3. Find your Fan Club membership
  4. Click "Cancel"
  5. Confirm

You keep access to all benefits until your annual renewal date. After that, your account becomes a regular customer account and your member benefits stop.

PAYMENTS

You're charged once a year automatically on the same date you signed up. Your card is saved securely with Shopify Payments.

Yes. All payments go through Shopify Payments, which uses bank-level encryption. We never see or store your card details.

On your annual renewal date — one year after you signed up. You'll get a reminder email a couple of weeks before.

We'll automatically retry the payment over the next couple of days and email you to let you know.

To update your card:

  1. Log into your account
  2. Click "Subscriptions"
  3. Click "Update payment method"
  4. Enter your new card details

If we still can't take payment after retries, your membership will cancel.

Log into your account → Subscriptions → Update payment method → enter new card details.

If you're a Fan Club member, your annual subscription renews automatically. You'll see a charge on your renewal date once a year. If you're seeing an unexpected charge, email us at nathancartershop@hotmail.co.uk
